Yesterday, i made my way to the law firm to get stuff settled. Disbursed yet another sum of money. I also went for Yoga with Char but we were super pissed off by the attitude of the indian girl who is tending to the yoga place.. She didn’t remind us or point out to us that our package has expired, Charlene was already in the class and because i rushed down from the lawyer’s, i hurriedly told the lady that i’d speak to her AFTER the class. After we came out, she asked us which package we wanted to sign. We said we still had sessions and then she said in an exasperated manner that our 3 sessions had expired in October… Even chided us saying “you disappeared after June, but still left with 3 class. we cannot do anything. you should come regularly. you should know 1 year means if october you sign up, means october expire” What horrible service. Firstly, we weren’t issued a card with an expiry to track the dates our package is supposed to end… Secondly, her attitude was pure bad. It was very unpleasant and instead of costing 15 bucks or so, we had to pay the steep increased price of $35 per session. She didn’t get us to understand, and even blamed us for skipping classes for a few months. HELLO? Consumers have all the right to NOT attend classes for a few months leh, what does she mean by dissapear. It’s their job to remind also what??! We think this is pure horrible but with a couple seated so near us and that session being the last session before they close shop, we decided to just pay off first, without allowing them to pressure us into taking a package again just to make the per session price low. She said she couldn’t make a decision and had to “answer” to her boss, but she was mainly shirking responsibility. This set up is horrible and i’m so disappointed with the kind of answers she gave us, if not for the instructors, i’m never coming back. Let’s see what the boss wants to do about this because we are going to write in to their management. We left feeling cheated… Moreover i’ve been going there for 2 years. WTH….

So, i’m aching all over right now.. And for this year, i hope December goes back to being magical. Last year was horrible. This year is going to be terrific, the coming years too.

Euphoric’s the word

Apart from trying to be a yogi once a week, i’d like to be jumping ropes at least twice a week, interval training after skipping. Go for once a week jogs with the boyfriend at ECP… And one session of lifting weights to tone my arms.

If i can keep to this fitness regime, i will be very very proud of myself.

Besides the fitness aspect, i’d like to be able to wake at 6.30am every weekday morning, make myself a healthy, hearty breakfast, read the papers every day.. Then wash up and get ready for work.

I’d bring my laptop out with me to a cafe nearby, but most days i’d work from home. I’d be on super psyched mode all the time. I’d meet friends over lunch to catch up every once in a while, and network all the time. I’d make new friends every week.

My boyfriend will continue to take me out for movies on weekdays, like he always do. We can do it once a week. I will attend courses to improve myself. The courses won’t cost me too much, and i’d be able to afford them.

Over the weekends, we will indulge in good food, we will stay in to cook and experiment new dishes. We will meet friends, celebrate Birthdays, support the people close to us.

We will go Rollerblading, we will Wakeboard, Dive in Malaysia, Drive in to Malaysia for Dinner. Go for our Korea trip in January and enjoy ourselves Tremendously.

We will meet friends for Mahjong Sessions. We will make truckloads of money, at work and in Mahjong. We will chill with Char and Dani at Dani’s Siglap apartment.

I will have no lack of clothes to wear. I will have pretty heels, and my complexion will improve with this shiok lifestyle of mine.

hehehe…

Some Mondays, it represents doom, dreadfulness, but today, it didn’t feel that bad.

Finally made a monumental purchase on Saturday. I’m glad, over the moon! Maybe that’s why today didn’t seem so grim.

Just hope everything continues to look up.

Every now and then, we come to a point where we have to make a decision. Truth be told, i don’t like to make decisions.

So many repercussions, so scary.

Sometimes, in the face of life, we need to do things we don’t like. They are necessary though, to ensure survival.

Such are the harsh facts in life. You might not like it, but you got to do it… So we just got to bite the bullet and, well, endure for a while… How long? Depends on a couple of factors.

Anyway, the month of October has been, eventful i guess? I’ve been sick for almost a week now, coughing phlegm which is of a thick greenish colour, sticky and disgusting.. Flu hasn’t been going away and my left nostril is a bit bloody yet again. The weather has been mad, at times warm beyond belief, and then the next moment, it’s pouring heavily. The kind of rain that causes floods in Bangkok. We get it here in SG too, just, we’re luckier in a sense that… it drains off better.

Moving forward is a good thing.

So, yesterday, a day as ordinary as the rest, we decided to move forward by changing our relationship status on facebook. It’s a simple thing, but it is monumental to me. It’s the readiness and willingness to accept the scrutiny that comes with it, yet having the wild abandon to just let them form whatever opinions they might have. It wasn’t without thought. It was a process, which i slowly got comfortable with. I wasn’t rushed, but it just gradually got to me, that, fuck it. I’m happy. It don’t really matter what you think, and there’s no need for censorships. Like what HL mentioned Pohyong said to her. It’s a joyous union, it ought to be celebrated.

In this era and time, nothing’s really that certain anymore. Not because people are bad as compared to the past, but people choose not to be bound by too many social pressures to stay together. Personal happiness and fulfillment is still more important. This leads to more break ups as well. Ultimately, i’m trying to say that life is unpredictable. We know deep down if something feels wrong, and that feeling sometimes pops out of no where. Maintenance is of paramount importance. It’s not easy to attain a simple kind of love.. It’s not easy to find the right partner.

But when the one person makes you want to do that, you know it is all worth while.
